Return, Cancellation & Refund Policy

TCD – THE CLOTH DIRECTION operates on a made-to-order and custom manufacturing model. Every product is manufactured according to customer-approved specifications, designs, branding requirements, fabric selections, sizing details, and customization instructions.

By placing an order, approving a quotation, making a payment, approving artwork, or confirming production specifications, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this Return, Cancellation & Refund Policy.

1. Custom Manufacturing Policy

All products are manufactured specifically for individual customers and organizations, including:

  • Corporate Apparel
  • Polo T-Shirts
  • Round Neck T-Shirts
  • Hoodies
  • Jackets
  • Shirts
  • Co-Ord Sets
  • Track Suits
  • Sportswear
  • Workwear
  • Hospitality Uniforms
  • Promotional Merchandise
  • Private Label Products
  • Customized Apparel
  • Printed Products
  • Embroidered Products
  • Custom-Branded Products

Since these products are manufactured specifically against customer requirements, they cannot be resold to another customer.

2. No Return Policy

All products manufactured by TCD shall be considered final sale products.

The company does not accept returns for:

  • Customized Products
  • Personalized Products
  • Printed Products
  • Embroidered Products
  • Branded Products
  • Made-to-Order Products
  • Private Label Products
  • Bulk Manufacturing Orders
  • Special Production Orders
  • Products Manufactured Against Approved Samples

Products once delivered shall not be eligible for return unless specifically approved by management in writing.

3. No Refund Policy

All payments made to TCD are:

  • Non-Refundable
  • Non-Transferable
  • Non-Adjustable

This applies to:

  • Booking Amounts
  • Advance Payments
  • Sampling Charges
  • Design Charges
  • Development Charges
  • Fabric Procurement Charges
  • Production Charges
  • Dispatch Payments
  • Final Settlement Payments

No refund shall be processed under any circumstances after payment realization.

4. No Adjustment Policy

Amounts paid shall not be:

  • Adjusted Against Future Orders
  • Transferred to Another Customer
  • Converted into Credit Notes
  • Redeemed Against Other Services
  • Applied to Any Unrelated Transaction

All payments remain linked exclusively to the original order.

5. Order Cancellation Policy

Orders may not be cancelled once any of the following activities have commenced:

  • Design Approval
  • Artwork Approval
  • Fabric Procurement
  • Material Procurement
  • Sampling Development
  • Pattern Making
  • Production Planning
  • Manufacturing Scheduling
  • Printing
  • Embroidery
  • Stitching
  • Packaging Preparation

Any cancellation request received after commencement of production-related activity shall be automatically rejected.

6. Customer Approval Responsibility

Customers are solely responsible for reviewing and approving:

  • Product Specifications
  • Fabric Selection
  • Sizes
  • Measurements
  • Quantities
  • Colors
  • Artwork
  • Logos
  • Branding Elements
  • Personalization Details
  • Printing Content
  • Embroidery Content

Production shall be carried out based on approved specifications. TCD shall not be responsible for errors arising from customer-approved information.

7. Manufacturing Variation Policy

The customer acknowledges that certain variations are inherent to the manufacturing process.

Fabric Variations

  • Shade Variations
  • Dye Lot Variations
  • Texture Variations
  • GSM Variations

Printing Variations

  • Print Placement Variations
  • Color Output Variations
  • Minor Registration Differences

Embroidery Variations

  • Stitch Density Variations
  • Placement Variations
  • Thread Shade Variations

Garment Variations

  • Minor Measurement Variations
  • Stitching Variations
  • Finishing Variations

Industry-standard tolerances shall apply.

8. Quantity Tolerance

Due to bulk manufacturing processes, production quantity variations may occur. A variation of up to ±5% shall be considered acceptable and within industry standards.

Such variations shall not constitute a manufacturing defect or grounds for rejection.

9. Defect Reporting Policy
  • Notify TCD in writing within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Provide photographs and supporting evidence.
  • Allow TCD reasonable opportunity to investigate the claim.

Failure to report within the prescribed period shall be deemed acceptance of the goods.

10. Transit Damage Policy

Upon dispatch, ownership and risk of goods transfer to the customer.

TCD shall not be liable for:

  • Transit Damage
  • Theft
  • Loss During Transportation
  • Delayed Deliveries
  • Mishandling by Logistics Providers
  • Warehouse Damage
  • Courier Service Failures
11. Insurance Responsibility

Insurance for the following shall remain solely the responsibility of the customer:

  • Raw Materials
  • Finished Goods
  • Transit Shipments
  • Warehousing
  • Logistics Operations
  • Transportation

TCD does not automatically provide insurance coverage.

12. Force Majeure

No refund, cancellation, compensation, or liability shall arise due to delays caused by:

  • Natural Disasters
  • Floods
  • Fires
  • Pandemics
  • Government Restrictions
  • Labor Strikes
  • Transportation Failures
  • Supply Chain Interruptions
  • Power Failures
  • Events Beyond Reasonable Control
13. Management Discretion

Any exception to this policy shall be entirely at the sole discretion of TCD management. No employee, representative, dealer, agent, or third party shall have authority to override this policy without written authorization from the company.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Return, Cancellation & Refund Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to this policy shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the competent courts located at:

Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India

Therefore, all orders are treated as final, and all payments made to the Company are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-adjustable.
